We are hiring an LAB TECHNICIAN based in West Kelowna, to join the Frind Team.

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Masters in Oenology, Viticulture or science related field.

·         Preference given to candidate with previous experience.

·         Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work consistently and safely throughout the day.

·         Lift, carry and operate heavy equipment.

What we are looking for:

·         Ensure clean and organized environment in lab and office.

·         Analyze purify, modify, and characterize chemical compounds.

·         Prepare wines for trial blending and tastings.

·         Manage lab inventory and supplies.

·         Experience with analytical instrumentation.

·         Bottling line preparation, adjustments, and ongoing Quality Control assessments.

·         Be reliable, detail orientated, energetic and hardworking.

·         Prepare and/or update lab SOP’s on a regular basis.

·         Analyze, complete and submit VQA submissions on a regular basis.

·         Complete accurate documents for Forklift, Industrial First Aid & WHMIS.
