We are looking for great people to join our rock star tasting room team at our wineries and ciderhouse, The Hatch, Black Swift Vineyards, Crown and Thieves and Truck 59 Ciderhouse. Our tasting room crew will be responsible for providing guests with a warm, engaging experience while telling the stories of our wines.

Job Summary:

Responsible for delivering a high level of customer service and visitor experience within the tasting room. To act as a brand ambassador both on site and off premise as requested. Working within our casual wine shop environment, you will deliver the ultimate level of customer service, educate guests on our wines, and ensure the experience for all visitors exceeds expectations

• Stocking inventory (must be able to lift at least 16 kg)
• 19+ years old
• Serving it Right
• WSET or other wine training considered an asset
• Previous wine and hospitality experience considered an asset

Necessary Requirements:

• The willingness to be pro-active and wear many hats within the company, as well as a

willingness to participate in promotional marketing content on social media and other platforms

• Must possess current Serving It Right certification

• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position including repetitive

lifting of 30-50 lbs, being able to stand for extended periods of time, as well as navigate stairs

• Open and flexible schedule for the duration of the season; our tasting room operates 7 days per week and successful candidates must be available to work all shifts/days including holidays and all ‘Blackout Days’.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Make sure everyone on the planet loves Jason Parkes Customs and our brands

• Greet visitors and conduct tastings.

• Maintain in-depth knowledge about the wines, and the vineyards they come from.

• Assisting and driving sales, upselling guests on wine purchases, and wine club

memberships

• Enforce regulations and policies as necessary in accordance with LDB/Serving it
