Rollingdale Winery is seeking a permanent full-time in-store wine sales clerk starting January 2021.
About us
Rollingdale Winery is a small farm gate winery located in Lakeview Heights, in West Kelowna. We are 100% family-owned and operated. Our focus is on producing fine wines using only premium grapes made from the most conscientiously cultivated vines we can find. We are a certified organic winery and also have several VQA certified wines.
What are we looking for?
Based in West Kelowna, We are looking to fill a full-time Wine sales clerk. You will be providing exceptional knowledge of wine and great customer/guest service.
Duties and responsibilities
Greet customers and discuss various in-stock wines, Prepare sales and take payment, package bottles in the box if required, Assist in display of merchandise, Maintain sales records for inventory control, Handle wine tasting events if needed
Requirement:
Completion of secondary school, 19 Years old of Age (Legal age of drinking in B.C.), B.C. Provincial Serving It Right license, Preference will be given to candidates with WSET level 1 certification.
Qualification & Experience
Able to communicate in English
Plan to relocate to Okanagan area or currently resides in Okanagan
Remuneration & Other:
This position comes with a competitive wage at 20$/hour with 35 hours per week working hours, plus commissions on net sales.
