The Life of a Winery Concierge:
- Greet high volumes of visitors to the property in a predominantly outdoor environment, and attend to their specific requirements in a friendly and helpful manner
- Communicate details of tours & experiences, wine boutique offerings, restaurant reservation & walk ins
- Facilitate property tours as required
- Participate in effective, collaborative communication between all departments
- Assist Wine Ambassadors with set-up and tear down of tour & experience spaces
- Provide additional assistance with Private Events services as required and scheduled
- Participate in training/ seminar session on a weekly basis
- Stay up to date on all winery events
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospitality, tourism, hotel, or retail environment
- Strong communication skills with an enthusiastic attitude
- Open and flexible for all shifts including evenings and weekends for duration of season
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements including standing for extended periods of time, navigating stairs and lift and carry up to 40lbs
- Must be comfortable working in an outdoor environment, through Okanagan Spring and Summer conditions
- Enthusiasm to increase wine knowledge
- You thrive in ambiguity and are comfortable with change
- You put trust in others and never let anyone down
- You listen, take feedback, respond quickly, and take initiative with a sense of urgency
- You are authentic, diplomatic, thoughtful, and always have the best intentions
