Logistics Coordinator
International Cellars Inc.
We are seeking a highly organized, multitasking, detail oriented and problem solving individual to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be working with international wine suppliers from numerous countries around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Fully cycle logistics. Perform administrative activities necessary to the logistics of importing wines and spirits from foreign countries.
Working with our Logistics Manager, Marketing Manager, Brand Managers and Sales Coordinator to ensure inventory levels are managed responsibly for the provinces of BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Report to company management on inventory balances, out of stocks and forecasting.
Transferring products between the provinces of BC, Alberta, Sask and Manitoba.
Track purchase orders and audit invoices to ensure they match purchase orders on vintages, quantities and prices.
Assist in forecasting sales and inventory levels for BC, Alberta, Sask and Manitoba.
Request and generate Purchase orders for BC, Alberta Sask and Manitoba.
Working with various costing departments, internal and provincial liquor boards.
Coordinate with Brand Managers.
Liase with suppliers, liquor boards and freight forwarders regarding purchase order procurement, inventory management, vintage changes, price changes, shipping dates and shipping methods.
Maintain and update inventory status reports for BC, Alberta, Sask and Manitoba.
Depending on the logistics work load you may be assigned to, from time to time, to assist another admin department such as marketing or sales support.

You have proven you work well in the eye of the storm and can handle the pressures of competing priorities while keeping a smile on your face. You are a veteran at tracking inventory levels and forecasting. Accuracy, diligent follow up and excellent communication skills come naturally. You are proactive and creative with your problem solving and described as a team player by all your colleagues.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
2 years related experience in the logistics/supply chain field.
2 year business diploma.
Highly proficient in MS Excel. Note-we are a 95% Mac environment.
Past experience in the beverage alcohol industry will be an asset.

Compensation:
Will be commensurate with the candidate’s level of experience and education and will include base salary, benefits package and 3 weeks annual vacation. Previous experience in the wine industry or international shipping will be an asset.
