2025 Harvest Cellar hand

Due to a last minute cancellation Osoyoos Larose is looking for one Harvest Cellar Hand to complete it's team. You will play a key role in a young and dynamic team.  This seasonal role requires full availability for up to six days a week, with shifts up to 12 hours per day ( no nights). The harvest season runs from late August to late November, with the possibility to extend the contract to March of 2026. During this period, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the vineyard and winery. Must have the legal right to work in Canada. 

What You’ll Do

• Operate equipment to receive, sort, and press grapes.
• Take part in all winemaking decions with the team
• Vineyard scouting
• Perform key winemaking tasks, including racking, inoculations, transferring, blending, and fermentation monitoring.
• Conduct punch downs, pump overs, and dig outs.
• Assist with barrel work, such as filling, fermenting, racking, sampling, and topping.
• Clean and sanitize winery equipment to maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure exceptional wine quality.
• Lab work

• Previous vineyard or harvest experience is a plus, but enthusiastic first-time candidates are welcome!
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
