1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Wine Jobs Canada, owned and operated by Fine Vintage Ltd. By accessing or using this website, posting a job, creating an account, or applying for a position, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site.

2. The Service

Wine Jobs Canada is an online job board that connects employers with job seekers in the wine and hospitality industry in Canada. We provide a platform for employers to advertise vacancies and for candidates to discover and apply for them. We are not a recruitment agency and we are not a party to any employment relationship formed between employers and candidates.

3. Job Postings and Fees

Posting a job costs $149 CAD. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details. A posting remains live for six months or until you mark the position as filled, whichever comes first. Once a job posting has been published, fees are non-refundable. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any posting that violates these terms or that we consider inappropriate for the site, at our sole discretion.

4. Employer Responsibilities

Employers are responsible for the content of their postings. By posting a job you confirm that the vacancy is genuine, the description is accurate, and the posting complies with all applicable laws of Canada, including employment, anti-discrimination, and privacy legislation. Postings must not advertise pyramid schemes, commission-only positions disguised as salaried roles, or opportunities requiring candidates to pay to apply or to work.

5. Job Seeker Responsibilities

When you apply for a position through the site, your application — including your name, contact details, resume, and any cover letter — is transmitted directly to the employer. You are responsible for ensuring the information you submit is accurate. We do not vet employers or candidates, and we make no representations about any employer, candidate, or position advertised on the site.

6. Accounts and Edit Links

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Some postings can be managed through a unique edit link sent by email without an account; anyone with that link can modify the posting, so you must keep it confidential. We are not liable for changes made by anyone you share an edit link with.

7. Email Communications

We send transactional emails related to your postings, applications, and account. You may optionally subscribe to job alert emails; every alert includes an unsubscribe link and you can opt out at any time.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that a posting will result in a hire, that candidates will be suitable, or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Fine Vintage Ltd and Wine Jobs Canada arising out of your use of the site is limited to the amount of fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fine Vintage Ltd, Wine Jobs Canada, and their officers and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you submit, your use of the site, or your breach of these terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site, remove postings, or close accounts at any time for conduct that violates these terms or is otherwise harmful to the site or its users. You may stop using the site, or ask us to close your account, at any time.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
