2025 Vintage Cellar Hand

Lake Breeze Vineyards is looking for a motivated and hard-working individual to join our cellar team for the 2025 harvest.

The contract will run from September to the end of November.

Lake Breeze is one of the oldest wineries along the renowned Naramata Bench on Lake Okanagan, near Penticton, BC. Our family owned winery produces hand crafted quality wines and you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of grape varieties. The role will involve working closely with the Winemaker in the creation of our award-winning wine.

Key responsibilities and duties are as follows:

• Grape processing – grape reception, sorting, destemming, crushing, and pressing.
• Fermentation monitoring – pump overs, punch downs, inoculations, additions, and sampling.
• Barrel work – racking, topping, transfers, and filtration. Perform laboratory testing. Sanitation.
• Keep a clean, tidy, and safe work environment with an emphasis on efficiency and quality of work.
• Positive attitude and a flexible work schedule with an understanding that long hours may occur.
• Safe operation of forklift and other winery equipment. The ability to lift up to 50lbs.

• 2-3 years of cellar experience
• Valid SIN or Canadian Work Permit
• Self motivated and punctual with good communication
• Forklift certificate and ability to operate RDV filter an asset
