Assistant Winemaker

Lakeside Cellars is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Assistant Winemaker to join our team immediately. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small, passionate winery located on the shores of Lake Osoyoos.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of winemaking from crush through to bottling
• Monitor fermentations and perform regular cellar tasks
• Conduct lab analysis and support quality control processes
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records
• Participate in barrel work, sanitation, and general winery upkeep
• Work closely with the winemaker and cellar team

Qualifications:

• Prior winemaking or cellar experience is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to manage cellar responsibilities independently without direct supervision
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in varying conditions
• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
