Job Overview
We are looking for a cellar hand to join our winemaking team. If you are someone who is passionate about ultra-premium winemaking come grow with us at Two Sisters Vineyards and Stone Eagle Winery.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Operating barrel washer, ozone machine, pumps and crossflow filter. Comfortable transferring wine, racking, blending, topping barrels, tank sanitation, wine treatments, and barrel maintenance
- Cleaning & sanitizing equipment (presses, pumps, bins, tanks, tubs), as well must be comfortable entering tanks for cleaning/skin removal
- Ensure presentation, organization and sanitation of the cellar is always of the highest standard.
- Ensure all documentation and relevant records are completed and returned to supervisor in a timely fashion including work orders.
- Follow all safety procedures as directed by standard operating procedures.
Compensation:
Hourly rate $21 - $23/hour (based on experience)
