Job Overview
We are currently looking for a cellar hand to join our team. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week
Ideal candidates will have 2 or more years of employment in a winery cellar and experience operating various winery equipment.
Job Requirements
Examples of Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
• Filter Operation: Crossflow, lenticular, pad filter, DE, RVF
• Cleaning and sterilizing winery equipment and tanks
• Transferring, racking, blending wine/juice
• Carrying out various additions/inoculations
• Barrel operations: filling, racking, topping
• Pump-overs, punch downs, red drain and presses
• Helping out in wine store when required
Eligibility Requirements:
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Able to lift 25kg and able to work at heights
• Willing to work shift hours and extended hours during harvest
Pay Rate/Compensation:
• $20.00 to 25.00 per hour based on experience level
