Equipment Operator/Vineyard Assistant

Osoyoos Larose is a premier wine estate located in the South Okanagan, dedicated to producing world-class red wines. We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated Equipment Operator & Vineyard Assistant to join our viticulture team. This is a dynamic role that blends precision equipment operation with viticultural monitoring and harvest support.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Safe and efficient operation of vineyard tractors and implements for key seasonal activities, including spraying, hedging, mulching, and cultivation. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of all machinery to ensure operational readiness.
• Irrigation Management: Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of the vineyard irrigation systems, including repairing leaks, checking emitters, and ensuring optimal water delivery.
• Vineyard Monitoring: Work closely with the Vineyard Manager to monitor vine health, assist with pest and disease scouting, and track phenological stages.
• Team Leadership: Act as a Team Leader for manual vineyard crews (pruning, canopy management) when required, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Harvest & Cellar Support: Transition to the cellar during the harvest season to assist the winemaking team with grape reception, processing, and fermentation duties.
