Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Excellence: Lead by example, ensuring every customer enjoys a personalized and attentive experience. Share your expertise on wine pairings and guide them in selecting the perfect bottle for any occasion.
• Team Leadership: Inspire, motivate, and manage a team of knowledgeable staff to deliver exceptional service. Cultivate a positive, collaborative work environment where everyone feels valued.
• Store Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the store, including inventory management, ordering, merchandising, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our customers.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the wine industry, especially those related to our exclusive, sustainable producers. Share this knowledge with staff and customers to enhance their experience.
• Events and Promotions: Plan and execute in-store events that engage our community, promote the wineries we work with, and strengthen our brand’s presence in Calgary.

What We’re Looking For:

• Wine Passion: A genuine love for wine, whether you're a seasoned expert or just beginning your wine journey. Curiosity and a desire to learn are key.
• Customer-Centric Approach: A strong dedication to providing memorable experiences and building lasting relationships with our customers.
• Leadership Skills: The ability to inspire, guide, and support your team, creating an environment of trust and collaboration.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience:
• At least 3 years of experience as a Manager, leading a team of 5 or more people, and driving operational success.
• A background in the hospitality, wine, or spirits industry, with hands-on experience in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales goals.
• A strong grasp of P&L management, with the ability to showcase your track record of financial success in previous roles.
• A proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and success.
• Wine Certification (Optional but a Plus): Formal wine knowledge or certifications like WSET or CMS are an asset, helping you quickly get up to speed and serve customers with expertise.
