Location: Hester Creek Estate Winery – Oliver, BC
Employment Type: Seasonal - Mid-August to December 2026 (1 position)

Hester Creek Estate Winery is seeking 1 more motivated and hard-working Harvest Cellar Hands to join our team for the 2026 vintage. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cellar operations at one of the Okanagan’s most iconic estate wineries. We are looking for 1 position to start mid-August 2026. Positions will run until approximately December 2026, work dependent.
Please Note: Applicants must already have a valid Canadian work visa or be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with grape receiving, sorting, and processing
- Perform punch-downs, racking, and transfers
- Operate cellar equipment including pumps, presses, and hoses
- Clean and sanitize tanks, equipment, and work areas
- Perform barrel work including filling, emptying, and cleaning
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Support other harvest tasks as needed
Requirements
Qualifications
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa)
- Previous harvest or winery experience is an asset but not required
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs and work long hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
- Have excellent attention to detail and record keeping skills
- Forklift operating experience
- Confined space ticket and forklift license an asset
