River Stone Estate Winery is a small, family-owned and operated winery located in the heart of the South Okanagan. Nestled in Oliver, BC, we are known for crafting small-lot, estate-grown wines that reflect the unique terroir of our region. With a focus on balance and quality, we specialize in bold Bordeaux-style reds, aromatic whites, and crisp, rosés. Our commitment to hands-on, thoughtful farming practices is at the core of everything we do:  and it all starts in the vineyard.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Harvest Cellar Hand that can support us through the most busy and important time of the year. The ideal candidate is someone that is adaptable and is willing to work in a small team setting. The position would be assisting the winemaking team in all aspects of harvest including picking, processing and fermentation management. The role will be diverse and will give the right candidate great insight into the inner workings of a small wineries harvest activities from picking till the end of fermentation. This is an essential role and will allow a person to leave a stamp on the 2026 vintage.

In this role, you will

●     Assist our winemaking team in picking, sorting and processing, pump-overs and punch-downs, and fermentation monitoring

●     Conduct vineyard monitoring including grape sampling

●     Perform daily sanitation of winery equipment (tanks, pumps, barrels, etc.)

●     Keep detailed records of winemaking activities

●     Support other harvest-related tasks

Requirements

Skills & Experience

●     Previous experience working in the vineyard and cellar during harvest or extended education in wine is an asset

●     Forklift Certification

Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with experience, $21.00-$23.00 per hour.
