What You’ll Do
· Grape processing, pressing, rackings, transfers, additions, and barrel work
· Clean and sanitize tanks, equipment, barrels and work areas
· Operating forklifts, harvest equipment, pumps, barrel washer, ozone machine
· Ferment management (inoculation, cap management, monitoring fermentation kinetics)
· Identifying and reducing potential microbial issues – grapes, must and wine
What You Have
· Diploma or University degree in Oenology/Winemaking or applicable Science Related Field considered an asset
· Ideally a minimum of 1 harvest experience, preferably 2 with one international
· Proficient in the operation of all production equipment, ability to learn and use winery software (Vintrace)
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time with accuracy and efficiency
· Physically fit, able to lift 50lbs and work long hours, including evenings and weekends
· Forklift experience an asset
