Harvest Cellar Hand

Lightfoot & Wolfville is a family-owned, organic and biodynamic farm winery located in the heart of the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia on Canada’s Atlantic coast. Our vineyards are on land stewarded by our family for four generations, with farming roots in the region extending back eight generations. Today, our focus is on crafting expressive, cool-climate wines that reflect our unique terroir - including traditional method sparkling wines, aromatic whites, and classically styled Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. 

We are seeking a Cellar Hand to join our passionate winemaking team for the 2026 harvest season (with potential for a longer-term position). This is a hands-on role that supports all aspects of winery operations - from fruit receival through to bottling - with an emphasis on care, cleanliness and attention to detail.  Must have the legal ability to work in Canada and have a flexible schedule throughout harvest season. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist with vineyard sampling, grape processing, fermentation, pressing, racking, lab and barrel work
• Sanitize and maintain winery equipment and tanks to the highest standards
• Operate pumps, hoses, filters, and other cellar equipment safely and efficiently
• Conduct wine and juice transfers, additions, and monitoring as directed
• Maintain accurate records and follow all SOPs and safety protocols
• Support bottling, labeling, and packaging operations
• Perform general winery and facility cleaning and upkeep
• Contribute to a team culture focused on continuous learning
