Seasonal Harvest Cellar Hand
Rosehall Run Vineyards – Prince Edward County, Ontario
Rosehall Run Vineyards is one of the oldest and largest family-owned wineries in Prince Edward County. We specialize in premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay produced from estate-grown fruit. Our winery is equipped with modern, top-of-the-line equipment, allowing our team to focus on quality-driven winemaking.
We are seeking a motivated, hardworking, and enthusiastic individual who shares our passion for wine to join our team for the 2026 harvest season.
This is a full-time seasonal position, running from September through late November, with significant overtime expected during peak harvest.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with the Winemaker on all aspects of harvest and cellar operations
- Grape receiving, processing, and detailed record-keeping
- Setup, operation, and sanitation of harvest equipment
- Juice and wine movements, including transfers, racking, filtration, and barrel work
- Assist with basic lab analysis (juice and wine), as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the winery, including tanks, equipment, and facility
Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg and working long hours (50+ hours/week during peak harvest)
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Previous winery or harvest experience is an asset, but not required
- Forklift certification is an asset, but not required
Compensation
- Competitive hourly wage: $21.00/hour
- Hands-on experience in a quality-focused winery
- Opportunity to work closely with an experienced winemaking team
- Housing on site is available
