Job Overview

Winner of the 2011 Riedel Trophy for WSET Educator of the Year, Fine Vintage Ltd. is North America’s largest provider of WSET courses. With 49 schools across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean offering Levels 1, 2, 3, and Diploma, we are an industry leader in providing the highest quality of wine education.

We are looking for a new instructor to join our team and run courses in Montreal.

The position will be on a contract basis.

Requirements of this position include:

  • Selecting wines according to curriculum guidelines within a pre-established budget;
  • Preparing wine logs for each class;
  • Conducting classes with charisma, entertainment and 1st class education;
  • Invigilate exams according to strict WSET and FV guidelines;
  • Assist with marketing activities to promote Fine Vintage courses in the local area.
  • Depending on our own status in each city you will either join our existing team of outstanding instructors or you will be the lead educator.

Requirements

Applicants must be able to show the following skills and qualifications:

  • WSET Diploma is a must. Please do not apply unless you have the Diploma.
  • Have at least 10-year experience in the wine industry;
  • Have visited a large number of wine regions around the world, especially the classic regions;
  • Have excellent teaching and public speaking abilities;
  • Exceptional organizational skills;
  • Be recognized as a wine expert in the local area.
