a.m.c.c. is a beverage alcohol marketing agency specializing in trade relations, events, education, media relations, and strategic marketing for international wine regions and beverage alcohol clients across Canada.

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and creative Marketing & Events Coordinator to support our portfolio of wine regions and beverage alcohol clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for marketing, events, communications, and the beverage alcohol industry.

This is a contract position running from July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, with the opportunity for extension based on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Event Coordination & Execution

  • Research and secure venues for trade and consumer events
  • Coordinate event logistics including vendors, rentals, staffing, guest lists, and shipping
  • Support on-site execution of tastings, masterclasses, trade events, and media events
  • Assist with event reporting and post-event follow-up

Media Relations & Communications

  • Coordinate media outreach and distribution of press kits and releases
  • Track and monitor media coverage and articles
  • Maintain media and trade contact databases
  • Assist with influencer and trade relations initiatives

Social Media & Marketing

  • Develop, schedule, and manage social media content for a.m.c.c. accounts
  • Support client social media strategy and execution where needed
  • Monitor social media engagement and performance metrics
  • Assist with content creation including captions, newsletters, presentations, and marketing materials
  • Maintain marketing calendars and project timelines

 Administrative & Project Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and project support across multiple initiatives
  • Assist with presentations, reports, budgeting, and meeting coordination
  • Support ongoing marketing, education, and trade development projects
  • Help ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years experience in marketing, events, communications, PR, agency, or hospitality/beverage alcohol-related roles
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Social media management experience (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook)
  • Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic marketing tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Interest in wine, spirits, hospitality, food & beverage, or luxury brands is considered a strong asset
  • Some evening and occasional travel may be required for events
  • Must hold a valid driver's licence and be comfortable travelling independently.

Compensation

Compensation will reflect the successful candidate's experience, skills, and expertise.

Note that salary range is based on an annual rate.
