About Select Wines

At Select Wines, we proudly represent a portfolio of premium, innovative wines from around the world. With a strong national presence and deep provincial expertise, we collaborate with our partners to share compelling wine stories with Canadian consumers. Our team thrives in an entrepreneurial, passionate culture united by a love for wine and a drive for excellence.

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on National Procurement Manager to lead our procurement operations and oversee the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across Canada. Reporting to the National Director of Supply Chain, this role plays a critical part in aligning purchasing strategies with commercial goals, sales forecasts, and inventory needs ensuring the right products are delivered to the right markets, on time.

This is a highly collaborative role, working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Logistics to drive efficiency, cost transparency, and supply chain excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the national S&OP process, aligning demand, supply, and inventory planning across regions
  • Translate sales forecasts into strategic procurement plans across our global supplier network
  • Oversee end-to-end procurement operations, including PO management, shipment tracking, and reconciliation
  • Optimize national and provincial inventory levels while balancing availability, cost control, and demand
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to support promotional timelines, product launches, and retail programming
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL partners to streamline inbound logistics
  • Maintain accurate landed cost data to support pricing and margin strategies
  • Ensure compliance with CBSA and provincial liquor board regulations (e.g., BCLDB, NSLC)
  • Manage and enhance procurement systems and data integrity, with a focus on Microsoft Business Central
  • Drive continuous improvement across procurement, planning, and supply chain operations

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in procurement, demand planning, or S&OP—ideally in the wine, beverage alcohol, or CPG sectors
  • In-depth understanding of international procurement, logistics, and liquor board regulations
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Business Central or Dynamics NAV)
  • Strong skills in forecasting, inventory optimization, and cross-functional project coordination
  • Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with supply chain data tools
  • A genuine passion for wine and the industry is a strong asset

Why Join Us?

  • Join a collaborative, high-performing team that values innovation, accountability, and passion
  • Play a key role in shaping the future of procurement strategy at a nationally respected wine agency
  • Enjoy competitive compensation and benefits
  • Access to ongoing wine education
