Job Overview
EPIC Wines and Spirits is a privately held Ontario wine and beer agency operating since 2014. We are looking for a part-time Business Administrator to support recurring administrative, pricing, data, promotional, website, and marketing-related tasks.
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, computer-proficient self-starter who can work independently, take direction from owners, manage recurring tasks, and know when to ask for clarification or support. We are looking for someone interested in growing with the company, as hours and responsibilities may expand over time.
Responsibilities may include updating price lists, preparing promotional flyers and sell sheets, running sales and category data, maintaining product and supplier information, updating website content, supporting LCBO-related administrative processes, working with business portals and platforms such as Gateway, Channelsnap, and Dig This Data, and assisting with newsletters and social media scheduling where appropriate.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in office administration, business administration, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new portals, platforms, and systems, including Gateway, Channelsnap, and Dig This Data
- Highly numerate and comfortable working with data
- Flexible, reliable, and able to manage recurring deadlines
- Able to function well in a small, team-oriented environment
- Must have working status in Canada
LCBO experience is a strong asset. Wine knowledge is also a benefit, particularly for candidates interested in supporting newsletters, social media, and product-related marketing activities.
Compensation
This is a work-from-home role for someone based in the GTHA. The position is approximately 20–24 hours per week, with some flexibility around when the work is completed. Compensation is $25–$30/hour, commensurate with experience. Independent contractor arrangement preferred. Computer and necessary equipment will be provided.
