Job Overview
We’re a small, family-like craft cider company in the Okanagan, and we’re looking for a friendly, cider-loving human to join our tasting room team on weekends (Saturday & Sunday, 10am–5pm).
About Us
Dominion Cider is rooted in Summerland, in the Okanagan Valley, crafting small-batch ciders that reflect the orchards around us. We work with a mix of cider apples, dessert apples, and unique local ingredients to create balanced, thoughtful ciders and apple sodas—from crisp and refreshing to fruit-forward and a little adventurous. As a small team, we care deeply about quality, community, and creating a welcoming experience for everyone who walks onto the farm.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Hosting tastings and creating a welcoming, memorable experience for guests
- Sharing the story of our ciders: how they’re made, what makes them unique, and why they taste so good
- Setting up and preparing the tasting room before opening
- Processing transactions through our POS system
- Actively promoting and selling bottles, cans, and merch
- Stocking shelves and keeping the fridge organized and full
- Keeping the tasting space clean, organized, and inviting
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Outgoing, personable, and confident talking to customers
- Passion for local food & beverage (cider curiosity = big bonus 🍎)
- Must be 19+
- Serving It Right certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable and available to work Saturdays and Sundays (10am–5pm)
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
