We are currently seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager based in Vancouver
The Portfolio Manager works directly with our supplier partners to build, manage and execute business plans for the Western Canadian market. A key liaison between Appellation’s suppliers and our sales and operations teams, the role requires a strong team player with developed industry knowledge, organizational skills and business acumen.

Responsibilities
Primary contact to supplier business partners & key liaison to Appellation’s sales and operations team
Partner with suppliers to develop and execute business plans, forecasts and trade marketing budgets for the Western Canadian market
Manage reporting dashboards and on-going business reviews
Manage pricing and promotional activities including liquor board and key account initiatives
Coordinate in-market activities including events, supplier visits, customer meetings and sales initiatives
Coordinate/liaise on sales material needs and development
Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Superior presentation skills including the ability to lead product tastings and education seminars, effectively communicating product features and benefits
Highly organized, self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Team player
Strong analytical skills
Minimum 2-4 years of beverage alcohol experience work experience
Advanced wine knowledge including understanding of grape growing and winemaking processes, and knowledge of the world’s most important wine regions
WSET 2 (or equivalent Sommelier designation)
University degree or diploma in sales and marketing
Demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft Office applications
Compensation
