Job Overview
Interested in managing a dynamic and professional team in an exciting culinary environment?
As a Poplar Grove Floor Manager, you would be joining a team of professionals dedicated to hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences. The role is vital to the success of the restaurant and requires you to manage a diverse team of servers, server assistants, hosts, and expos during Lunch and Dinner service. From pre-service to the last guest leaving, you will lead and support your team! This is a great opportunity to work with professionals eager to establish Poplar Grove as the top culinary destination in the Okanagan.
Duties include:
· Managing the team from beginning of service to closing.
· Ensuring that standards of service are met.
· Creating and maintaining an environment where the team is performing to their potential.
· Energize staff in an environment of trust, approachability, optimism, and integrity.
· Ability to manage issues in a positive, solution-oriented manner.
Additional information:
· 4- to 5-day work week
· 5- to 8-hour shifts

Requirements
· Minimum two years high-end serving experience. Management experience is an asset.
· WSET II or equivalent knowledge
