The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Sales Representative / Territory Manager to join our BC team. Based in the Vancouver/Fraser Valley area, you will manage a defined territory, working across both on-premise and retail channels. This is a dynamic role for a wine professional who thrives in relationship-building, consultative selling, and achieving measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales within assigned territory, focusing on premium restaurants, hotels, and retail accounts
- Build and maintain strong, sustainable customer relationships
- Identify new business opportunities and maximize the potential of existing accounts
- Achieve sales targets and execute promotional programs to drive brand visibility and sell-through
- Provide staff training and in-store tastings to educate customers on our portfolio
- Maintain accurate sales records, account plans, and reporting
- Stay informed on wine industry trends, competitive activity, and market opportunities
- Represent The Wine Syndicate at trade events, tastings, and industry functions
Requirements
What You’ll Bring
- 2–3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in wine, beverage alcohol, or hospitality
- WSET Level 3 certification (preferred) or equivalent wine knowledge
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
