Job Overview
Tasting Room Sales Associate
Blue Mountain Vineyard and Cellars, Okanagan Falls, British Columbia
Blue Mountain Vineyard and Cellars is one of British Columbia’s original wineries — a true Okanagan icon. The Mavety family has been growing grapes on the estate since 1971 and established the winery in 1991, remaining proudly family-owned and estate-driven.
Set across 170 acres, with 90 acres under vine, our vineyards are rooted in one of the most breathtaking settings in the Okanagan Valley. Best known for our Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Méthode Traditionnelle sparkling wines, we also craft complex, age-worthy, single-varietal wines including Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gamay Noir.
Guided by a commitment to quality, tradition, and thoughtful viticulture, we produce wines that reflect both our land and our family’s dedication to excellence.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic, passionate, and hardworking team members to join us for the 2026 season. The ideal candidates will possess exceptional customer service skills and confidently articulate our history, philosophy, and commitment to quality.
We are currently seeking two seasonal team members to join us for July and August, working three days per week. Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Essential duties and Responsibilities:
· Open and close the tasting room with care, ensuring the space reflects our standards of excellence and hospitality.
· Welcome each guest with warmth and professionalism, delivering a memorable tasting experience from arrival to farewell.
· Prepare the wine shop daily, thoughtfully merchandising and stocking inventory while maintaining a beautiful, guest-ready environment.
· Share our story with confidence — educating guests about our wines, history, philosophy, and the benefits of joining our wine club community.
· Process all sales accurately and efficiently using the Commerce7 point-of-sale system.
· Assist guests with purchases, gift selections, and shipping to ensure a seamless experience.
· Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the tasting room and patio throughout the day, creating a welcoming and refined atmosphere.
· Complete all end-of-day procedures, including cleaning, reconciliation, and secure lock-up.
· Support the team with additional administrative tasks as needed.

· A genuine passion for wine and a strong interest in the hospitality industry.
· Must be 19 years of age or older and hold a current Serving It Right certificate.
