General Description

For the 2026 wine season we are looking for an experienced and confident Shift Leader who will help oversee the day to day running of our winery! This is a predominately customer facing role, and will be in support of the Tasting Room Manger to help facilitate friendly, knowledgeable and memorable customer experiences and tastings.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise daily tasting room operations
  • Assist with training and team development to help build a knowledgeable and  motivated team
  • Helping ensure sales targets are implemented and met.
  • Lead by example by conducting tastings, sharing knowledge, engaging with guests and offering guidance on wine purchasing
  • Ensuring that opening and closing duties are completed
  • Contribute to the fun wineshop culture and encourage a positive team environment
  • Helping with the growth and retention of our 'Fan Club' by providing excellent customer experiences

Requirements

Requirements

  • Serving it Right Certificate
  • Experience relevant to supervising in a retail/wine shop environment
  • WSET 1/2
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Must be over 19 years of age
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to set and reach/exceed goals
  • Strong computer Word and Excel skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
