Part-Time / Full-Time | Boutique Winery | Hospitality-Focused Role
Pentâge Winery is a boutique, family-owned winery located on the Skaha Bench in Penticton, BC. Established in 1996, we focus on producing premium, small-lot, handcrafted wines.
We are seeking a warm, professional, and detail-oriented team member to join our hospitality team. This role supports both our tasting room experience and wine club operations, along with administrative and computer work during quieter periods.
This position can be full-time for the right candidate or shared between two part-time team members, depending on availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming, professional customer service in the tasting room
- Share the story of Pentâge Winery, our wines, vineyards, and winemaking philosophy with guests
- Maintain a polished, welcoming, and guest-ready tasting room environment
- Open and close the tasting room
- Process POS sales and assist guests with purchases
- Support wine club processing and member communication
- Pack and ship wine orders and restock inventory
- Provide administrative and office support during quieter periods
Requirements
Qualifications
- Passion for wine, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable guiding guests through structured wine tastings
- Proficient with computers (MS Office / Excel required)
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be 19+ years of age and hold a valid Serving It Right certification
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver’s license
- WSET certification is an asset
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Schedule
Day shifts including weekdays and weekends, approximately 20–40 hours per week. The role can be full-time or shared between two part-time team members, depending on applicant availability.
Compensation
$19-$25 dependent on experience
