Lakeboat Vineyard & Winery is seeking a Vineyard Crew Member for the 2026 Season.  We are a small, family run boutique producer located just outside of Penticton. This role supports our regenerative farming in the Kaleden region of the Okanagan Valley, BC.  This opportunity may also transition to a harvest cellar hand for the right candidate. 

Job Duties 

  • Vineyard works including but not limited to; Canopy management (bud rubbing, shoot thinning, positioning, leaf removal), Vineyard floor management (weed control, cover crops) 
  • Hand-harvesting of grapes 
  • Bottling production line assistance 

Requirements

Candidate Requirements 

  • Previous experience in vineyard/agricultural work 
  • Previous experience with cellar work/winemaking would be an asset 
  • Formal education in; Cellar work, Viticulture or Oenology would be an asset 
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada (Working holiday visas welcome) 
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks 
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Physical stamina and comfortable working outdoors for long periods in all weather conditions 
  • Available for extended work days as the growing season required including weekends 
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail 
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team 
  • Good time management and organizational skills 

Compensation

Compensation 

  • Pay Range of $19-$25 per hour based on education and experience.  
  • On site accommodation options are available.
