Job Overview

Osoyoos Larose, one of British Columbia’s most iconic wineries, is seeking a motivated Vintage Cellar Hand to join our team in Osoyoos starting August 2026. With 90 acres of certified organic vineyards producing world-class red and white wines, we combine tradition with innovation in a brand-new, state-of-the-art production facility.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of winery production:
    • Harvest operations (grape receiving, crushing, pressing, fermentation management)
    • Barrel work (racking, topping, cleaning, maintenance)
    • Bottling operations and cellar upkeep
  • Assist with laboratory analysis and quality control as needed
  • Maintain rigorous hygiene and safety standards throughout the winery
  • Work closely with the Winemaker and production team on all cellar tasks

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a winery or cellar environment
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions
  • Physical fitness for manual work (lifting, standing, repetitive tasks)
  • Flexibility to work long hours and weekends during harvest
  • Team player with a positive, reliable attitude

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly wage: $20–22 per hour (commensurate with experience)
  • Comprehensive benefits package after 3 months
  • Monthly wine allowance

Requirements

·        Hardworking and enthusiastic

·        Strong team player

·        Ability to work independently and as part of the team

·        Excellent communication skills 

·        Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and  multi-tasking

·        Some post-secondary university education, degrees with a specialization Winemaking or equivalent considered an asset

·        Excellent forklift skills is an asset

·        Lab experience would be considered as an asset

·        Ability to work at heights

·        Ability to lift 55 lbs
