Job Overview

Situated at the gateway to the renowned Naramata Bench, Upper Bench Estate Winery & Creamery sets our experience apart by crafting our own line of artisan cheese to compliment our award winning wines. Our 9 acre vineyard and winery features a bustling, intimate wine shop, an outdoor, 40 seat, covered, misted patio, highlighting an open concept kitchen and a Forno Bravo pizza oven. Here 19+ guests can savour authentic Neapolitan pizzas, charcuterie boards and baked cheese dishes, paired, of course, with our delicious wines. Our team welcomes guests to their seated Estate tasting where they learn about us, our philosophy and our wine and cheese. We are looking for someone with strong sales focus, exceptional customer service skills who enjoys story telling and is familiar with Naramata Bench wineries.

Requirements

  • Strong sales and customer service skills imperative
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Must be a self-motivated and a quick learner
  • Reliable transportation, of legal age, lives locally
  • Wine, cheese & food knowledge appreciated
  • Tips & Staff discounts
  • Serving It Right required, Food Safe appreciated
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements, including being able to stand for extended periods of time and the ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends as needed

Compensation

$20 to $23 hour
