Lead Service Role

This person will play a central role in setting the tone for the season—both for our guests and our team—ensuring that every visitor receives a seamless, story-driven, and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership
  Manage the front-of-house team (2–3 seasonal staff), overseeing scheduling, day-to-day operations, and upholding Mason Vineyard’s high standards of service and professionalism.

• Sales-Focused Hospitality
  Engage guests with warmth and expertise—supporting them through guided tastings, assisting with wine purchases, encouraging sign-ups for future releases, and helping to cultivate long-term relationships.

• Staff Training & Onboarding
  Train and mentor seasonal staff to align with Mason Vineyard’s tone, values, and voice. You’ll ensure our story is shared consistently and with passion by everyone on the floor.

• Service Flow & Experience Development
  Work closely with ownership to refine our service systems and guest journey throughout the season. Your leadership will help ensure a smooth, intuitive flow for both guests and the team.

• Tasting & Event Support
  You’ll play an active role in day-to-day service and team management, ensuring high standards are met across the board. Strong wine knowledge is essential. During VIP tastings and events—which will occur more frequently through the summer and into fall—you’ll provide crucial support to ensure everything runs seamlessly.

Details:

• Seasonal position: Start ASAP, running through late September

• Schedule: Primarily Friday through Sunday, with some flexibility for events

• Compensation: $22–25/hour + tips, based on experience
