Job Overview

Fine Artisanal Wines & Food is a bottle shop and restaurant in the Annex/Christie Pits area of Toronto. We are looking for a self-motivated, outgoing, enthusiastic, hands-on wine professional with hospitality experience and a flair for sales, service that drives client loyalty and referrals.

Duties:

Lead operation of the bottle shop/restaurant including maintaining wine and merchandise levels, POS system use, organization & cleanliness.

Engage one-on-one with guests to ensure a welcoming, polished, and memorable experience.

Wine sales and service, often facilitated with samplings.

Food and wine table service.

Ensure compliance with liquor regulations and health and safety practices.

Requirements

Sommelier or WSET certification.

Smart Serve Certification.

Minimum 3 years hospitality service experience.

Proven leadership skills, organized and solution-oriented.

Strong sales focus with appreciation for wine.
