Tasting Experience Server – Part Time/Full Time – Orofino Vineyards, Cawston, BC

We’re hiring! As we prepare for the upcoming 2025 season, we look forward to adding a couple of friendly new members to our small but passionate and down-to-earth Tasting Room team!

WHO WE ARE
Orofino is a family run winery located in the beautiful Similkameen Valley, just a short 30-minute drive from both Osoyoos and Penticton. Focused on making small lots of hands-on vineyard-focused wines since 2003, we have helped develop the Similkameen into a top tourist destination for wine experiences. Our focus is on creating thoughtful wines that reflect our unique terroir. We are proud to offer a relaxed and personalized tasting experience to our guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greeting all guests upon arrival in a courteous manner
• Providing outdoor tasting experiences to guests
• Educating customers on the wines and winery
• Promoting wine club memberships in a friendly, approachable and professional manner both in person and over the phone when necessary
• Processing sales, restocking shelves, polishing glassware, and maintain cleanliness of the Tasting Room and all public areas throughout the day

QUALIFICATIONS
• Exemplary customer service skills
• Serving It Right
• Weekend and holiday availability
• Must be 19+ and be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs
• Able to work outside and stand for extended periods
• Able to work well as a team, multi-task, and adapt to ever-changing situations while continuing to provide excellent customer service
• Serving and/or wine industry experience an asset but not required. Willing to train if you have the desire to learn!
