Tasting Room Associate

We are currently hiring Tasting Room Associates to join our small but dedicated team:

• 1 position: 30+ hours per week
• 2 positions: 20+ hours per week

Domaine Queylus is a premium, terroir-driven winery located atop the Niagara Escarpment in St. Anns. We focus on elegant, small-lot wines and thoughtful, seated tasting experiences. We’re looking for individuals who value hospitality, attention to detail, and creating meaningful guest connections.

 What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the face of Domaine Queylus — creating thoughtful, memorable tasting experiences from the moment guests arrive to the moment they leave with wine in hand (and hopefully a Wine Club membership).

Your day might include:

• Welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism
• Guiding seated and group tastings with confidence and personality
• Sharing the story behind our wines and winemaking philosophy
• Helping guests select wines and building sales naturally
• Introducing guests to our Wine Club and mailing list
• Prepare and serve light food offerings, as required
• Serve food at private events in addition to wine service
• Operating Point-of-sale and handling transactions accurately
• Setting up and closing down the tasting room
• Washing and polishing glassware (because details matter here!)
• Assisting with event set-up/tear-down
• Packing and shipping orders
• Keeping our beautiful space spotless and guest-ready
