The Trusted Expert is an essential position in teaching and engaging customer with their passion and expertise to maximize sales and customer relations. The position will assist management in the development of programing, training and merchandising.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service and assist customers with complaints to find a satisfactory resolution.
  • Passionate about beer, wine, and spirits, and always seeking to expand your knowledge and expertise in your category.”
  • Curating your customer following and updating them on new exciting products in your category.
  • Able to speak, teach and engage a group up to 120 participants in events and classes.
  • Good understanding of POS system and able to jump in and assist as needed.
  • Training and mentoring all staff in your expertise.
  • Merchandise the shelves and displays based on corporate standards (ie shelf sets).
  • Ensure category marketing features are stocked, labelled and merchandised as necessary.
  • Participate in the preparation and execution of all inventories.
  • Able to assist in other categories outside expertise.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Working knowledge and understanding of POS
  • Strong Knowledge of Beer, Wine, and Spirits
  • Proven leader and mentor
  • Strong Public Speaker
  • MS Excel, MS Word considered and asset
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Flexible must be able available evenings and weekends
