Upper Bench Winery & Creamery seeks a dynamic, sales-focused Wine Shop Manager to oversee daily tasting room operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and leading a high-performing, passionate team.

Sales & Customer Experience

• Train and lead staff in selling wine, cheese, and club memberships.

• Maintain a welcoming, knowledgeable, and service-driven tasting room.

• Promote the Corks & Curds Club and educate guests on our wines and cheese.

Operations & Staff Management

• Oversee staff performance and training.

• Maintain training materials, tasting menus, and promotional signage.

• Ensure seamless opening/closing procedures and adherence to policies.

• Order and maintain inventory of all wine shop supplies and merchandise.

Inventory & Retail Management

• Manage wine, cheese, and retail inventory, ensuring accurate sales tracking.

• Oversee merchandise displays, transactions, and online order fulfillment.

• Monthly inventory reporting to all departments.

Communication & Coordination

• Liaise between the tasting room, winery, and creamery teams.

• Coordinate vineyard/winery tours and collaborate on events and promotions.

• Ensure cleanliness, compliance, and a top-tier guest experience.
